Meet LCHS Mental Health Therapist Cassie Taylor, LCSW

TO ALL STUDENTS, STAFF & GUARDIANS,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Cassie Taylor, and I am the mental health therapist at the high school. My goal every school year is to help any student who may be struggling with a variety of issues, obtain appropriate resources and be able to cope effectively. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, struggle adjusting to high school, behaviors, or any other difficult area in their life, I am here to help in any way I can! I will have ways in which a student can meet with me primarily through the student’s counselor. A guardian consent form will have to be filled out for each student to obtain continued services.

I hope to provide a safe and comfortable environment for each student where they feel welcome and able to express the needs/struggles they may have. Feel free to also look through our mental health webpage in which monthly newsletters will be posted along with resources, hotlines, emergency resources, and much more. Life can be tough sometimes and many of us have struggled adjusting to the impacts of COVID-19. So, all that I ask is to never be afraid to seek help and create a better, more positive life for yourself!

Have a great school year!
